925 Sterling Silver means that the
contents of jewelry must be at least 92.5% of fine silver mixed with
7.5% of copper or other metal. This formula is internationally
accepted and it gives Sterling Silver the hardness and the tolerance
to work with. Fine silver too soft.
2. Is the silver jewelry at Silver Jewelry Corner 925 silver?
99% of all our sterling silver jewelry are 92.5%
silver. If only silver plated we specified it in the description
of the item.
3. What does anti-tarnish means?
By nature of the metal, all sterling silver jewelry tarnishes and
sometimes turns yellow or black. All our jewelry has an anti-tarnish
finish to protect the silver from tarnish or discoloring. But the
content of the sterling jewelry is still 92.5% silver.
4. What is gold plating and two- tone gold & silver plating?
Gold plating on sterling is a process where at least one micron
(40mils) of gold is plated on to the surface of sterling silver.
Some people call it gold overlay on sterling, gold bond on sterling
etc. Two tone gold & silver plating is similar to gold plating, but
it requires two steps plating. The first is gold plated and certain
areas are masked or covered and then the jewelry is silver plated
again to give it a good hand polish. But the content of the Sterling
Silver is still 92.5% silver.
5. Are all your products new?
All our products are new and in good condition. We DO NOT sell
any old, used or broken jewelry.
6. What is your normal delivery date and how do you ship?
We ship within 36 hours after your payment is received and we use
USPS (United States Postal Services). The moment we ship your order
we will provide you with the tracking number so that you can follow
the shipment.
7. What are your payment terms?
We accept payment by Money Order, Cashier's Check, Personal Check
and PayPal. Sorry, we don't ship COD. If paid with personal check we
will need to clear the check before we can deliver the goods.
8. What is your return policy?
If you are not happy with the goods we send to you. You can
return the item back to us within 3 working days from the date you
received it and we will be glad to refund your money back to you
(Less the shipping and handling charges) If you want to return your
order you have to notify us 1 day prior to returning the item. (you
will be responsible for the shipping costs)
